UM-Dearborn's Wheeler Named Women's Runner of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

WHAC SIDs selected UM-Dearborn's Elena Wheeler as the Women's Runner of the Week. Wheeler, a senior from Plymouth, Mich., finished seventh overall at the Northwood Invite with a 5k time of 19:07.50. Her efforts made her the fastest NAIA time at the 61-runner race.
