Indiana Tech Earns 8th-straight Women's outdoor track & field title
FORT WAYNE, Ind. - (Complete Results) For the 8th consecutive season, Indiana Tech Women's Track & Field won the outdoor championship. The event, hosted by the Warriors, saw Indiana Tech score 222.50 team points to win the title. Cornerstone checked in at second place with 186.50 team points followed by Aquinas (126.50), Siena Heights (104) and Madonna (82) to round out the top five.
Maelie Hope of Aquinas earned the Most Outstanding Performance honor for her championship effort in the hammer throw. Charity Jones of Madonna was named the Most Valuable Performer. K'Leigh Davis of Indiana Tech garnered Newcomer of the Year honors.
Indiana Tech earned Coaching Staff of the Year honors.
