SHU's Stewart Named NAIA National Field Athlete of the Week

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Siena Heights (Mich.) sophomore Emma Stewart has been selected as the Women's Indoor Field Athlete of the Week following a standout performance at the Michigan Invitational on Jan. 10, 2026.

Stewart delivered one of the top moments of the meet in the pole vault, clearing 4.00 meters to earn a second-place finish in a competitive field of 14 athletes. The mark not only met the "A" standard, but it also stands as the No. 1 height in the NAIA this season.

The Saints will next compete on January 16 at the SCSU Classic.
