Madonna Places Third, 29 earn All-American at NAIA Women's Indoor Championships
GAINSEVILLE, Fla. - (Complete Results | Record Book | NAIA Release) The NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships took place in its new home in Gainesville, Fla. last weekend with stellar performances from members of the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC). WHAC champion, Madonna, battled to a third place team finish, headlined by four top-three finishers and a host of All-Americans. Siena Heights also earned a top-ten finish, checking in at 8th with 31 team points. Indiana Tech finished 16th with 21 team points.
Cumberlands (Ky.) won its first NAIA Indoor Track and Field Red Banner with a final score of 58. Doane (Neb.) followed just 10 points back with 48. Madonna (Mich.) and Life (Ga.) were separated by one point for third and fourth place. Taylor (Ind.) rounds out the Top 5 with a total of 35 points.
