Karlsson and McGlassion Earn WSOC Weekly Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Women's Soccer Player of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen UNOH's Mathilda Berg Karlsson as the Offensive Player of the Week and Cornerstone's Corinne McGlassion as the Defensive Player of the Week

Karlsson had the biggest offensive output of any player in UNOH history in a 9-2 win over Indiana Tech last week. The sophomore scored four goals and assisted on four more for a 12 point game. She became just the fifth player in team history to score four goals in a contest.

McGlassion earned two wins and two shutouts to help Cornerstone secure the #6 seed in the WHAC tournament. The freshman made nine total saves in 180 minutes.
