Indiana Tech Wins Women's Bowling Regular Season Title
For the seventh time in program history and fourth time in the last five seasons, Indiana Tech Women's Bowling has claimed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) regular season title. The Warriors were atop the standings from start to finish, winning all four WHAC regular season events to earn the max 92 points and claim the title. This marks the first time since the 2013-14 season that a team has won all four regular season events. Lawrence Tech finished in second place with 73 points, followed by Aquinas with 53 to round out the top three.
The win also secures the top seed for the Warriors at the WHAC Championships on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Royal Scot in Lansing. New this year, the top eight teams from the regular season earn a place in the double-elimination championship.
Teams earn points based on their finish in each of the four conference events: 1st- 23 pts, 2nd- 19 pts, 3rd- 16 pts, 4th- 13 pts, 5th- 10 pts, 6th- 8 pts, 7th- 6 pts, 8th- 4 pts, 9th- 3 pts, and 10th - 2 pts
