LTU's Adams Named Women's Bowler of the Week
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Women's Bowler of the Week Award, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
This week, SID's have chosen Lawrence Tech's Amelia Adams as the Women's Bowler of the Week. The junior won the WHAC Michigan Open on Saturday with a three-game series of 626. That series included games of 216, 176 and 234. Her efforts helped Lawrence Tech to a second place team finish. This is Adams' first Bowler of the Week honor this season.
