Rosiewicz, Oyer and Cramton Named To NAIA Softball All-American Lists
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (NAIA Release) Three members of the National Championship Madonna University Softball team were named NAIA All-Americans on Tuesday. WHAC Player of the Year, Ashley Rosiewicz, and WHAC Pitcher of the Year, Camille Oyer, each earned a place on the first team while First Team All-Conference selection, Faith Cramton, was named a Second Team All-American.
Rosiewicz did it all for the Crusaders, finishing the historic season with a .423 batting average, .797 slugging percentage and .495 on-base percentage. The junior shortstop had 13 doubles, three triples and 15 home runs, driving in 73 and scoring 72. A force on the base path as well, Rosiewicz stole 25 bags in 29 attempts.
Oyer was stellar all season long in the circle. The junior made 27 starts, tossing 131.1 innings and finishing with an unblemished 21-0 record. Oyer allowed just 19 earned runs all season, striking out 66 and walking 33. She held opponents to a .200 batting average against.
Cramton made an immediate impact in her first season with the Crusaders. She led the team in batting average at .435 and started all 56 of the team's games. Cramton ripped 26 doubles, seven home runs, drove in 66 and scored 32 times. She struck out just 10 times in 168 at-bats.
Player of the Year and Pitcher of the Year honors went to Analise Rayburn of Oklahoma City and Aubree Ferguson of Science & Arts (Okla.).
