Men's Cross Country: Cornerstone, Madonna and Aquinas + Individuals Qualify for NAIA Nationals
KANSAS CITY, Mo. - (Full NAIA Release) The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced team and individual qualifiers for the 2025 Men's Cross County National Championships. Three Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Teams and four more individuals have earned the right to compete in the race to be held at Apalachee Regional Park in Tallahassee, Florida on November 21. WHAC champion, Cornerstone, earned the conference's automatic bid by way of winning the conference. Madonna, ranked #19 in the nation and (RV) Aquinas, each earned an at-large berth as one of 36 teams to qualify.
Four WHAC individuals, all from Indiana Tech, earned a trip to the championships as well. They are: Juan Caballero, Ayub Sayid, Giulio Romano and Kobee Beck.
The championship will be broadcast on NAIA Network and Urban Edge Network. Visit NAIA.org/watch for links, including URLs, mobile apps, and smart TV information. The men's race is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. ET, and awards at approximately 11 a.m. ET.
Last season's national champion, the College of Idaho, is back in the 2025 field as an at-large qualifier, as well as the 2024 runner-up that finished just nine points back, Milligan (Tenn.), in as an automatic qualifier out of the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
