Poore, Bosley and Karns Named FInal MVB Weekly Award Winners

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its latest Men's Volleyball Player of the Week awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction. These honors are nominated by host institutions and selected through a vote by the conference's sports information directors.

This week's accolades belong entirely to Indiana Tech, as the Warriors swept the honors following a dominant 3-0 stretch that included massive upsets over two Top-15 programs.


Attacker of the Week

Dylan Poore, Indiana Tech(Sr., OH - Indianapolis, Ind.)

Dylan Poore earns Attacker of the Week honors after leading the Warriors' offense through a gauntlet of ranked opponents. Poore was instrumental in Tech's perfect week, which featured victories over #12 Lourdes and #10 Bethel. He racked up 44 kills (4.40 per set) while maintaining an efficient .313 hitting percentage. His most explosive performance came against Bethel, where he notched 16 kills at a 5.33 per-set clip. He also added 6 aces and 8 digs to his weekly totals.

Setter of the Week

Nolan Bosley, Indiana Tech(Sr., S - Indianapolis, Ind.)

Senior Nolan Bosley claims the Setter of the Week award for his masterful orchestration of the Indiana Tech offense. Bosley distributed 115 assists, averaging a staggering 11.50 per set across three matches. He saved his best for the final match of the week, recording 12.33 assists per set in the sweep of #10 Bethel. Bosley also proved his versatility by contributing 18 digs and 10 blocks defensively.

Defender of the Week

Zack Karns, Indiana Tech(So., MB - Mount Vernon, Ohio)

Sophomore Zack Karns anchored the Warriors' front line to earn Defender of the Week honors. Karns was a force at the net, totaling 12 blocks for an average of 1.20 per set. His defensive presence peaked in the sweep of Bethel, where he recorded 5 blocks (1.67 per set). In addition to his defensive prowess, Karns contributed 13 kills on the week, providing a balanced threat for the surging Warriors.
