Harris and Adams win final outdoor weekly awards
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
WHAC SID's have selected Patrick Adams (Cornerstone) as the Track Athlete of the Week and Jordan Harris (Siena Heights) as the Field Athlete of the Week. Adams won the 400m hurdles at the GVSU Extra Weekend event with a time of 53.99. He bested 15 total athletes and hit an NAIA B-standard in the process. Harris Won the shot put and discus and finished second in the hammer at the Kleinow Memorial last weekend. His discus throw of 49.76 was good for an NAIA B-standard.
