Krebs and Keys Named Men's Indoor Athletes of the Week
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen Lawrence Tech's Camron Krebs as the Track Athlete of the Week and Indiana Tech's Damien Keys as the Field Athlete of the Week.
Krebs won the 400m at the GVSU Mike Lints Alumni Meet with a time of 49.35. He bested a field of 50 total athletes for the victory.
Keys won the long jump at the Orange & Black Invitational. The freshman leaped 7.49m, an NAIA A-standard and his season-best jump.
