Madonna Wins Men's Soccer Regular Season Title

For the second-straight year, the third in the last four seasons and the fifth time in the last nine, Madonna University Men's Soccer has clinched the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) regular season title.

Heading into the final day of the regular season, Madonna needed a win to secure an outright regular season title and they did just that, defeating Cornerstone 2-0 on Saturday afternoon.They conclude the campaign with a 9-1-1 record for 28 points. Last season's tournament champion, Indiana Tech, finished in second place with 27 points.

As the regular season champions, Madonna earns the top seed in the upcoming WHAC Men's Soccer Tournament, which begins next week at various host sites. They also secure the first of two automatic bids to the NAIA National Championship first round. Tournament matchups will be announced on Sunday afternoon.
