Taylor's Pacer, LTU's Holmes named MLAX Players of the Week
The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week Award, presented by PCC Sports, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.
This week, the WHAC SIDs have chosen Grady Holmes (Lawrence Tech) as the Offensive Player of the Week and Lucas Pacer (Taylor) as the Defensive Player of the Week. Holmes had six goals and five assists for 11 total points against Columbia and two goals and three assists for a total of five points against Life. In addition to his 16 points last week, he also accumulated six ground balls and caused three turnovers. Pacer had a big week for Taylor, piling up 11 ground balls and causing nine turnovers, as the Trojans allowed just 12 goals in two outings. Pacer also tallied three assists in the 1-1 week for the Trojans.
