UNOH Wins 2025-26 Men's Golf Championship

YORKTOWN, Ind. - (Individual Results | Team Scores) For the sixth time in program history and the first time since 2022-23, the University of Northwestern Ohio Racers have claimed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) title. The Racers were led by Jose Luis Vargas who shot a two-over 218 over 54 holes to finish in second place. Oliver Rogers finished tied for fourth and Guillermo Garron was tied for eighth to pace the Racers championship run. They finished with a team score of 882, winning the event by 16 strokes. 

Lawrence Tech, winners of the last two WHAC titles, finished in second place followed by Indiana Tech and Defiance. 

Defiance sophomore Jordan Walford shot an even par 216 (70, 71, 75) to earn tournament medalist honors. 

With the team win, UNOH punches its ticket to the NAIA Men's Golf National Championship at TPC Deere Run in Silvis, Ill. The event takes place May 12-15.
