UNOH’s Guillermo Garron Claims Back-to-Back Men's Golf Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its latest Men's Golf Player of the Week award, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information departments and selected via a vote by conference SIDs.

Guillermo Garron continued his impressive spring campaign with a standout performance at the Patriot Invitational. Competing on a par-72 course totaling 6,930 yards, Garron showcased remarkable consistency and under-par scoring ability to lead the Racers.

Garron opened the tournament with a steady even-par 72, but it was his second round that truly turned heads; he fired a 2-under-par 70 to climb the leaderboard. He closed out the event with a 74 to finish with a three-round total of 217 (+2). His performance earned him a T-3rd individual finish in a deep field of 59 golfers, marking his fifth top-five finish of the 2025-26 season.
