Madonna Claims WHAC Cheer Tournament Title
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - For the first time in program history, the Madonna University Crusaders have claimed the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) tournament title. The Crusaders did it with a pair of 90+ point efforts in the two-routine event. They posted a 93.43 in the prelims and followed that up with a 92.22 in the finals. The effort was enough to edge WHAC regular season champion, Lourdes, but 1.40 points to claim the title. With the win, the Madonna earns the WHAC's autobid to the NAIA Competitive Cheer National Championships on March 27-28 in Topkea, Kan.
