UNOH Sweeps Baseball Weekly Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Baseball Player of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, WHAC SIDs have chosen UNOH's Zach Grigalis as the player of the week and teammate Daniel Healy as the pitcher of the week. 

Grigalis had a huge week at the plate, recording two hits in five out of six games. He totaled three doubles, three home runs and drove in eight runs while striking out just twice in 25 plate appearances. He finished the week with a .700.720/1.300 slash line and helped the Racers to a 5-1 record. 

Healy was great on the mound for the Racers, earning a complete game, two-hit shutout victory over Lawrence Tech. The sophomore allowed just two baserunners over seven innings and gave up just two hits while striking out seven.
