Aquinas Sweeps Hockey Weekly Honors

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Hockey Player of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, SID's have chosen Aquinas' Ben Cesario as the Offensive Player of the Week and teammate Simon Johnson as the Defensive Player of the Week.

Cesario led the Saints with four goals and two assists for six points over a 2-0 weekend for Aquinas. The junior scored two goals in each of the teams games. 

Johnson played all 120 minutes in goal, sending away 49 shots to lead the team to a pair of victories.
