Cesario and Kolasa Named Hockey Players of the Week

The Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) has announced its Men's Hockey Player of the Week Awards, presented by Tarkett Sports Construction, earlier today. Student-athletes are nominated by their host institutions' sports information department and selected via a vote by conference SID's.

This week, SID's have chosen Aquinas' Ben Cesario as the Offensive Player of the Week and UM-Dearborn's Isaac Kolasa as the Defensive Player of the Week.

Cesario scored four goals in two games to power the Saints in a sweep of Wester Michigan to extend its current winning streak to seven-straight. Cesario scored a hat-trick on Friday.

Kolasa made 50 saves in two games for the Wolverines last weekend. He stopped all three shootout attempts against Rhode Island in a close win to end the weekend.
